Everyone loves a puppy or a kitten, but here at Maryland Mobile Veterinary Clinic, we know that your geriatric pet has earned a special place in your heart. Our pets are such an integral part of our lives, we never want to see them suffer. When all options have been explored in making your pet comfortable, and the decision is made to say good-bye, we do our best to make the process as stress free as possible for both you and your pet. We can examine your pet and provide consultation to you and your family to help you make the decision.
Euthanasia is a service that is available inside the home or in a location of your choosing. It is of utmost importance that you and your pet are in a comfortable, private, and stress-free environment of your choosing at this time. Sedation will be administered prior to performing the euthanasia so that your pet is at ease and feeling no fear.
We also offer pet cremation services with a variety of options for your convenience, including communal and individual cremation. Other items to help you remember and honor your pet are also available, like clay paw prints.
The decision to euthanize is a difficult one, even if it is a gift of love you can provide your pet to let them go with peace and dignity. We are here to help you through this transition, and make the process easier for you. We always try our best to accommodate your schedule, but especially once you’ve made this difficult decision.
“We could not be any more satisfied with the care that Maryland Mobile clinic and the Uniontown clinic gave to our Cassius. He actually enjoyed their visits. And when the heart breaking moment came to give Cassius our last gift of love to ease him from his pain, the tenderness and compassion shown to us and to Cassius from the Md. Mobile team goes beyond words. We are forever grateful to have had them to call for our veterinary needs.” -Brenda S.
